Finally... something to do.

So my graphics card is pretty much trashed as far as DirectX/OpenGL is concerned. No big deal, it was a piece of garbage to begin with. But now I can't play Warcraft until I get a new one. So I am stuck with creating web pages and playing Super Mario 3 on my laptop. But quitting Warcrack has its perks, you get to go outside in to the real world, talk to people and network.
So after many months of looking for a job (mainly just to keep me busy) I finally found something to do. Something good I might add. I refused to settle for fast food, grocery store, or some unimportant stock boy job at Wal-Mart (no offense if that's what you do). Considering I am getting my degree in the IT field, I figured it's best to get what I can as far as computers go.
So I went for it and applied to GG on Thursday for an internship. Rick replied almost immediately, and we set up an interview for the next day. I was quite surprised, since every other job/internship I applied for didn't respond for at least a week, sometimes no response at all. Rick even set me up with my own GG email.
Today(Monday) was my first day. Even though I didn't really talk to anyone, people were really friendly and it seems like a really laid back environment. This made it really easy to do what I had to do and I didn't feel pressured. I really look forward to meeting all of the staff and hopefully getting involved in some of the future projects at GG. :)
I also plan to buy the TGE and sharpen up on my coding and maybe put together a game. At least the TGB, so I can get a better handle on what happens. I only know about GG what I read on the site and what is said on IRC. (I am BNX in #garagegames btw) So if you'll excuse me, I have some coding to practice.

Is there a formal plan to take over the world? Or just general domination of everything?

GG grows more powerful every day...Is there a formal plan to take over the world? Or just general domination of everything?
