Tube Twist at a local store

It's not everyday we see indies getting a game published. It's more unusual to see some of those games get a box deal. However, the strangest of all is for me to be able to see a game from a company I know at the local Wal-Mart! While out looking at the movies & games last weekend, I happened to come across Tube Twist in a box! Naturally, I had to pick up a copy for myself. I had only recently heard about them getting a box deal & thought it was pretty cool. Imagine my surprise when I saw the game in a local store! Pretty impressive considering I live somewhere north of nowhere (find Labrador City on a map... you'll see what I mean).

Congratulations 21-6!

Oh... if you can't find a cool box for this game in your store, you can always get it here on GG. ;-)

Cool.

One question... is 21-6 mentioned anywhere on the box?

The 21-6 logo is on the back of the box, but it's tiny and hard to read.

I saw it yesterday at the local mall's EB Games. Was pretty thrilling... sitting right next to the likes of Space Quest and Tomb Raider. :)

Yeah, like Matt says, it is there, but very small & hard to read.

Well at least they got it on the box... that's better than some other developers have gotten.

Labrador city? damn, makes me think of Racoon city from Res Evil :)

Labrador City, they must have high sales in doggy poop bags over there huh (sorry, I couldn't help it!) It's always cool to see an indie game in a retail box/store, every indies secret fantasy (go on, admit it! ;0)) Sucks about the minuscule logo though, but even commercial devs have that problem sometimes!

It's been very exciting to get TubeTwist:QFE into a box. We've come a long way, but have a long way to go. Let's celebrate by everyone buying two or twelve copies of TubeTwist from their local game store! ;)
