Dwarf Quest: The Legend of Helga
by Kyle James · 04/03/2007 (9:13 pm) · 5 comments

"You are an ordinary dwarf that works in a diamond mine with six other dwarves. While in town one day, buying beer for a party down in the mines, you run into a very attractive lady dwarf that goes by the name Helga. You decided to bring her to the party. When on the road to the diamond mine you are stopped by a mysterious man named Ganondwarf, that snatches Helga and the beer from you! Not only does he take Helga, but he uses his magic to transform her into a man!
After telling the other dwarves at the party what happened, you decide to embark on a journey to retrieve the what is rightfully yours. As your journey lengthens you are lead into a twist of tales and many sub-plots. You will find clues and helpful information during your quest, and eventually you will gather enough strength and abilities to defeat the mighty Ganondwarf and his empire he controls with the legendary bi-force. You gain back Helga, and it is up to you change her/him back to her/his normal self, or not, if you cool with that sort of thing."
If it isn't already obvious, Dwarf Quest will be a epic comedy that will rock your socks off. Unfortunately for you, that is all that you get to know right now.
This game has been in the back of our minds and had never reached past sheer concept. As soon as Dream Games announced the 1 Year Dream Game Contest, it has motivated me to bring the game back to life. It is going to be awesome.
Visit the website by clicking HERE. Or click HERE to view our media page, I just added some of the concept art today.
Feel free to open an account at the forums, they could use some livening up. And for the obligatory image...

I thought about joining it, but I realized that I don't have the experience it takes, lol.
I'm going to make a few more little games before I embark on a year long journey through the wonderful world of game development.
