SMX Goes Live
I am pleased to announce that Sound Media Xtreme is now officially in business. There is a lot of polish work to be done with the website and EPK, but the important information is now available. A lot of people worked very hard to get things done in time for GDC and we appreciate the efforts of everybody. Here are two important links, and I encourage everybody to take a look.

The first link is to the EPK (Electronic Press Kit) which is being passed out at GDC this week. While everybody who downloads the EPK will not get the pamphlet associated with it, it contains all the information about SMX as well as demos and bios. To view the EPK, extract the zip file and double click the Launch.exe

Electronic Press Kit

The second link is to the website. There is still work to be done but it does have most of the information about SMX on it. The website will be completed from a content perspective within the next few days.

Thank You
As I said earlier there are a lot of people that worked hard on getting this up and running. I would like to thank the following people:

Michelle Jorajuria and Phyllis Luccketta for their untiring work on SMX's content.

Todd Pickens, Jay Moore, Tim Aste, Jeff Tunnell, Sean Sullivan, Joe Maruschak, Chris Calef, and the entire GG staff for their support and constant encouragement.

Matt Damon and Stephan Lollis for all the long hours they put in.

Ultra Entertainment for performing a miracle on such short notice.

Last but not least I want to thank the GG community, without you this company would never have gotten off the ground.

We have several projects we are working on for the community, stay tuned for more info.

See you at GDC...

Good Job! That's a very impressive list of clients. And an excellent demo.

That logo is ...extreme! ;O)

Awesome web site! Congrats to everybody.

One thing to note: on the music demo page, the link for the Orchestral "Tragedy" tune links to the "Escape" tune.

I didnt open the .exe, and in general I would avoid distributing your press kit in a win32 executable. I, for instance, am wary about opening it for fear of virus on my pc and it is pretty much useless on my mac. simply zipping up your media may be the best route.

Just a tip. BTW your home page is just a landing page with no sub pages that I could see.

Congrats on 'going live'.

Glad to be a part of it man!

Sorry to anyone who hit the website before we were able to get it fully completed. It's up and running now. Be sure to check out the new layout.

@ Rubes

Thanks for the heads up!
