Working with Torque Advanced...

We're busy getting our MMORPG technology running with Torque Advanced...
We have key components up and running and it is going quite well... GarageGames has done an awesome job of core level compatibility between TGE and TGEA. If you know TGE, you can ramp up with TGEA very quickly... In fact, we have the TGE and TGEA builds sitting right alongside each other and can switch between them. :)
We've made C++ engine changes to TGEA, some minor TorqueScript changes, and zero changes to the Python sources between TGE and TGEA versions...
Here's a shot of the MMO technology running with Torque Advanced:

GarageGames has really closed the gap for indies with Torque Advanced . Huge congrats to Brian, Ben, and everyone else on a GREAT release!

That does look nice. ETA please? We're working with a variety of packages, but this looks as if it might help us progress a little faster and would be a definite asset to our team.-Sparkling

I agree with Mr. Bloodworth - it's against the law to have only a 440x340 pic in a TGEA post. Can't wait to see more TGEA stuff now!

I agree with Josh on this. I've ported two projects from TGE to TGEA, and both have been done within a few days. Unless you have custom GUIs you can usually get things ported and working in a single day, and then a spend a day or two tweaking your materials to make them look great. There are a few minor differences or non-working bits that you may have to put in manually if you want them (splashes, dust emitters) and few things that don't work quite the same (with particles mostly) but all in all its a pretty painless operation, and your game looks so much nicer and runs faster in TGEA.

I still wanna buy this when it's done, have some fun with my TGEA license.
