CS:Warriors and Commoners : the sale for Early Adopters will close soon.

If you don't know what the CS:Warriors and Commoners is, take a look at the last .plan of Christophe Canon.

This pack is for Early Adopters and Frogames wants to have a close relationship with them. So this pack will be on sale until this Sunday, february the 25th.
Frogames expects comments and feedback for this product during the 6 next months. So the final version will be available this Fall.

@Allyn "Mr_Bloodworth" Mcelrath
Well you can use the FBX Converter from Autodesk it is free!

I think you can use the FBX format with Lightwave.

Her you can find the tools!

I hope this help you.

Still have to have Max to run the conversion from .max:)

Steve is correct. The FBX converter will not convert .max files - only 3ds which most 3d apps can convert. This too is the only thing keeping me from getting this pack. It drives me nuts that all the models that come with torque's demo are also .max - it really pigeon holes what you can use. 3d studio and only 3d studio.

This looks cool :) two versions might be a good idea and expand sales...

Lower price Gamer Pack - no source files, simply enough to get a demo running

Full price Developer Pack - all source and extras

Another good reason to develop Collada support for torque and lightwave?

I am in same boat without Max. If this pack included the Lightwave .obj format I would definately purchase it, as it is a great looking product.

Concerning others formats, we don't have worked on this question for the Early Adopters version because we focused on the large content. This possibility will be studied for the finale version coming this Fall.
Patience :)
