It's a girl!

by Andy Hawkins · 02/13/2007 (11:22 am) · 32 comments

My daughter, Emma Caitlin Hawkins was born this Monday. Now we have two kids!!!! She weighed in at a healthy 7 pounds 10 ounces, a meer shadow of her brother who was 10 pound 8 ounces when he was born.

Needless to say, long days, we're all very tired and no time to play video games... well I did play Artic Poker for a little while... oh and Diner Dash... hmmm...

Congratulations! Welcome to the 2 kids club. A boy and a girl should be good. I have too boys. Chaos and mayhem. (Noah and Levi really, but their alias' are more accurate!)
Best of luck.

Thanks everyone - nice comments. It times like these that I realise this community is awesome :)

@Chip - is that your first?

@Leroy - I've got my 2 year old into Project Gotham Racing 2 and TOCA 2 - he's fast becoming worthwhile as a fun opponent ;-) Just kidding - but digging out the Scaletrix for him to play with the other day was a dream come true.

@Edward - what's that saying, if you say maybe, then you probably will. We said maybe :)

I guess my daughter might not be into games, more likely horsies and fairies - ohh well, I'll send a snap if I ever end up having to wear a tuotuo (spelling?)

Hmmm I have a daughter... still letting that one sink in...

Congrats man, mine is 4 months old now and I love the fact that I have a home office and can be around her 24/7. Productivity takes a hit though as I keep running over every 20 minutes to play with her ;p

Congrats! You'll find the amount of work it takes to take care of them increases exponentially with each child. And you'll enjoy every minute. :o)
