Hey, Shipwreck: 3rd Episode & Announcement

by Patrick Hrabe · 12/16/2006 (1:20 am) · 4 comments

I'm not a math whiz or anything, but I recently stumbled across this equation:

John Seguin + Torque Machinima Series = Awesome

That's right, the all new 3rd Episode of "Hey, Shipwreck" now features original music by none other than GarageGames Associate John Seguin of SeguinSound! John has produced music for such independent video games as "Wildlife Tycoon:Venture Africa" and the upcoming "Venture Arctic" by Pocketwatch Games, and is now also working with Tube Daze Animation to sprinkle the machinima scene with chocolate-covered goodness.

Now, with "Hey, Shipwreck's" completely original characters, story, and art, combined with the music of SeguinSound, I have composed yet another mathematical formula:

Pointless Machinima Series < Pointless Machinima Series with Kick-Ass Music

That's enough math for one day, so get to www.tubedaze.com to download not only the 3rd Episode of "Hey, Shipwreck," but also to download the 2nd Episode again, because Mr. Seguin was kind enough to provide all new music for that as well!

Check out John Seguin's work at www.seguinsound.com!

The beauty of machinima and decentralized media distribution is the ease at which material can be improved upon, so if you have any suggestion for the series, please drop us a line at email@tubedaze.com!

Enjoy!

As always, awesome stuff!

At my last job, all I did was write software, but it required going through almost as much to make a code change as these guys had to go through. (And if you skipped the procedure, there was ALWAYS training.)

John Seguin got me started on your show, and I've been loving it!

The only thing I would note: "maternal copulator" isn't quite a perfect substitute, since the adjective "maternal" imbues the affected noun with the *qualities of being motherly* instead of clarifying what exactly this copulator copulates with. So it basically says "one who copulates in a nurturing manner". "Mother copulator" might've been a better choice. :)

Sorry, my girlfriend went on and on about that so I had to bring it up. Personally I though "maternal copulator" sounded hysterical.

It was great.

The first episode kind of turned me off, it was boring at first, and I couldn't hear what the people were saying. When this episode came out, I watched them all, in the second episode there was better sound quality, and more humor.

The suspense was great. You actually got me to lean FORWARD in my chair. This is unusual for me, normally my shoulders touch the arm rests.

Good job.
