XNA and the Indie movement

by Andrew Hull · 12/11/2006 (8:54 pm) · 6 comments

So i just recently got back from the XNA Open House, just down the street from my personal (closed) house. It rocked! I was disappointed in not seeing any of the GarageGames fellas there. Although, i did see Jay Moore, so that almost counts, right?

Any ways. The demonstrations were pretty amazing. I really feel that Microsoft may be doing a good thing here for the "little" guy (Indies), and i think that there is going to be quite a boom in Indie development, especially in the console arena.

Now if only i had an XBOX360.

November sales where half a million X360's :)

Lots O customers...

I just wish Vista launch wasn't so screwed up timing wise because it does not generate lot of PC sales buzz.

When we see a drive by shooting for a box of Vista and an fancy GPU card then we will be on the right track.... (just kidding bad joke :) )

I'm already making plans on getting my hands on one:

Plan A) Buying one
Plan B) Getting someone else to buy one for me
Plan C) Robbing a santa lookalike
Plan D) Borrowing someone else's and returning it in around 4 years or so
