TGB and web content, GGE demo video

I have been thinking about multiplayer technology and integration with web content... specifically with personal networking sites, like GGE. I've also been meaning to checkout TGB for the last few months...
So, I snagged a copy of Torque Game Builder Pro a couple days ago and have been devouring it... TGB is very, very cool... and extremely familiar if you are experienced with TGE.
I've worked on web stuff with TGE a few times... once with an ActiveX control, once with a wxWidgets library, and now with LLMozLib from Linden Labs (the makers of Second Life). This is a great library and the third time is the charm:

It uses standard Torque GUI code... and so will be trivial to get running on TGE and TGEA. It can also be scripted with TorqueScript and Python :) The uses are really endless (interactive game docs and tutorials, Flash, YouTube, updates, forums, account management, microtransactions, in-game bug and user feedback, etc)... and combined with the Twisted framework... my gosh, that's networking power!
We're planning on releasing this technology sometime in 2007...

nice! I especially like your suggestion of hooking GGE to inspection of players within games, very out of the box thinking there. also, the "coming 2007" logo was boss :)

I like the Bolero soundtrack.
Edit: Arg! Doesn't allow accented characters.

Very cool Josh Ritter... watching that video has sparked a million different creative thoughts in my head of the new Doc Framework integrated inside of TGB :)

I've actually be working on a GUI Kit that includes some generic UI elements (most windows) which allow you to interact with online forums hosted by phpBB (easily converted to another forum system by updating some TorqueScript) -- the solution is going to be written in TorqueScript completely and require no C++ mods ...
This is a great idea, however, I'd love to see it cross-platform if at all possible ... what a great resource though

@Josh, as your using the gecko engine, what are the cross-platform capabilities of the code -- can it be run in OSX, Linux and Windows -- or does it use windows specific functionalities, since it appears your putting something similiar to an activex control in the GUI -- like the resource bank mentioned (which can't be cross-platform since its activex).I've actually be working on a GUI Kit that includes some generic UI elements (most windows) which allow you to interact with online forums hosted by phpBB (easily converted to another forum system by updating some TorqueScript) -- the solution is going to be written in TorqueScript completely and require no C++ mods ...

@Joshua Dallman: It would be cool to see the Great Game Experiment integrated with games... the GGE
Badge thing really got me thinking! :)
@Matthew Langley: Yeah, for docs and interactive tutorials, and other cool stuff :)
@David Higgens: It should be quite easy to get it running on OSX.

This is incredibly cool and inspiring!
I'm very interested in this, and my imagination is running at full tilt. :)
Now all we need is for Dreamer to package his MMO kit for TGB. ;)

@Clint, the Adv Kit isn't suffecient? What do you want to see added to the Adv Kit over what is there now -- to make it meet the MMO Kit's functionalities ... that is.

@Josh Ritter: Iglad to see it was discovered by you ;) I was toying with uBrowser for a while, but couldn't make Flash movies react on the mouse events - they play alright, but dont react to the mouse actions... did you make them work properly?

I'm having issues and hate to reinvent the wheel.
Have you packaged it as a resource? Would you be willing to share even if you havent? :)
