Hi everyone! This is my first blog ever! Did some .plans back in the day, but I have been out of the game doing my university degree, but with that behind me now, I can finally start putting those skills to good use.
I was planning on turning a prototype I made with unreal tournament 2003 into a fully fledged product. It is tentatively called portal plunder. The concept is a simple one, but I wont bore you with the details, but it is a multiplayer, team based FPS using portals as a key gameplay mechanic. There is a somewhat enthusiastic and old writeup about it at the link. I know it may sound like I am copying Valve here (from their Portal game), but it is very different.
I will probably get it working in TGE (1.4, i haven't upgraded yet) then move it to TSE (or is it TGEA or what?) when that stabilizes. Initially I am looking for a single level as a proof of concept, and if there are any artists or level designers out there, I would like to hear from you. Not expecting much of a response without any screenshots or a demo, but you never know. :)

Good to see you're still round.

So did you end up partnering with that guy you were talking about when I last talked to you, or has that all fallen through? Last I remember, Portal Plunder was a memory and you were working on a couple of other things.Good to see you're still round.

Yeah he is still around and we still have a few things in the pipes. Portal Plunder was an interesting idea that just wont go away, and is the most doable at the moment, so I figured we would focus on that for now.
