London Bridge is falling down...

For the past couple of days I have been working on setting the correct mood for Witch Hunt and designing some buildings of the post war London. Finally I have made the model for the Tower Bridge, which has yet to be textures correctly (when I figure out how.) I thought I'd upload some screenshots of London and the Tower Bridge and see what you all think.

PS - It looked alot better before I had to remove alot of the bits because Torque kept crashing while lighting :(

To Do (in this scene)
- Create the rest of the buildings (London Tower etc)
- Texture model
- Tweak terrain
- Add finishing touches (crosses on spires etc)

That's a great start, Tim. If you're using Quark you might consider building a DIF base of straight blocks then layer in more organic shapes as DTS models. The reason I say this is bent angles are very difficult to get right in Quark and I can see in the suspension cables you have broken seams. Using DTS shapes in conjunction with a DIF base will allow you greater detail and flexibility in design.

I look forward to seeing more of your project. Nice concept!

Thanks for that. I will model the suspension cables, crosses and other little fiddly bits in Milkshape (I am just learning how to use Milkshape) and import them. I now have the atmosphere correct, the whole scene is a storm and I have begun to model the Big Ben and the rest of the Tower of London which will play a major part in the game.

Thanks for your feedback.

Fixed! Now it looks much better! Thanks for your suggestion. I have now added some more environmental effects and I will begin texturing soon.
