Its been a while since my last blog post but development is continuing strong for our upcomming MMORPG titled "Crowns of Power".
Our artist recently finished the base model for our main male character.

The cloak (as well as the hands, feet, body, and legs) are considered seperate meshes, and depending on the equipment you are wearing, the corrent mesh will be shown. It currently weighs in at around 2,700 polys for the highest LOD level.
We are gearing up to have an open beta possibly withing the next few months. Expect more blog posts soon with additional details.

Question: Are you using Dreamer's MMO Kit or are you writing your own?

@Ben - All of the coding is custom. We took a look at the RPG kit but felt alot of the systems were just not up to the level we were looking for.
@All- Thanks! I'm sure the artist will appreciate the kind words

@Allyn - We will be using a 3 prong approach to customizing the player: Hidden meshes, dynamicly painting the mesh textures, and mounting equipment (helm, sword, shield)@Ben - All of the coding is custom. Edit: or not :) (not in your profile), I was going to ask what App you guys are doing charectors in. I'm using 3ds Max, and am a little stuck exporting animations, from your previous screenshots it looks like you guys have been exporting some ;)
