Hi, since this is my first ever post, I thought I'd start by introducing myself:

I was reluctant to post a blog, but I thought to hell with it, so here it is.

I'm Marc Jason Ali, I own Fuzion Family (Fuzion Studio, Fuzion Hosting and My Musical Family) and I'm partners with Rob Sandbach of Urban Games and I am 2D Art and Promotion Lead, with Fuzion Studio I have designed upwards of 10 websites, I work closely with a php scripter to give these sites dynamic, server side functionality, check out www.fuzion-family.net for more details on that.

OK, so onto the purpose of this blog - Urban Games, and my involvement with the development of the games that we develop, I'll start with chainWorks, since it's the first and it's just hit beta 1.

I designed the GUI and 3 of the 10 level backgrounds, all but one are in the game, I designed 'City', 'Fair Ground' and 'London' the London bg will be included in beta 2 but here's a preview:

'Rock Concert', 'Ski Resort' and 'Tropical Island' were designed by the very talented Shane Henry and 'Back Garden', 'School Fair', 'Ocean Liner' and 'Bonfire Night' were designed by the equally talented Dean Ali, my brother.

So with chainWorks at beta, what am I working on? well that's easy - Monkey Challenge, which has given me the opportunity to do character design which I absolutely love, you can see the title character on the 'Tropical Island' background, but I'd also like to give you a preview:

I'm also doing the GUI design and logo design.

And Synergy, well right now for Synergy, I'm doing the logo designs, one of which is from a concept created by the very talented Tony.
I also started on the GUI, and I'm working on concepts for a racer, which is a duo effort between myself and Tony, since it was an original concept of his.

Well that's all from me, I think I've not given too much away, just enough to introduce myself and the 2D Department of Urban Games.

But there is 'One More Thing', there will be a new promotional video for chainWorks, in the coming weeks.
