Alien Eggz - prototyping fun

I live in beautiful New Mexico, USA. We are surrounded by National Forest everywhere, good hiking, fishing, camping, etc. so it's real hard during the summer for me to not partake in that. Now the days are getting shorter and I'm getting back to my late night troglodyte game designing.

This is a prototype casual/puzzle game called Alien Eggz. The objective is to fill up the open game board cells with eggs, before they hatch and cause mayhem and mischief. There will be a variety of "population control" powerups and strange behaviors by the hatchlings. I am just getting to the point where it is actually playable- still just trying out various ideas and focusing on the gameplay. Starting to have fun with it. I got really carried away with this dev snapshot as you can tell.

Sounds like an interesting game. I'm glad you've used triangles as there's an over-usage of squares in puzzle games so go for it Alex! :)- Melv.

@Melv, Bucky Fuller and 9 out of 10 aliens agree that triangles rule over squares. :-)
