Torque 3DS Max Exporters - Preview Release

So for anyone who doesn't know yet, GarageGames will be releasing brand new 3DS Max Exporters with the next versions of TGE & TSE that get released. These exporters include a huge amount of bug fixes and functionality updates and were developed by Dark Industries from scratch. Big thanks to Matt Summers for his work on these, so please be sure to email him you undying love!
Like I mentioned above, the source code will be included with the next releases of the 3D Engines, however you can download the Max Plugin right now. This is of course, like I said, a preview release, so there may be a little glitchiness or rougheness around the edges still. It's totally usable for work right now, and is fully functional, so don't let that stop you! :)
You can download the exporters here.
The documentation is included in PDF form, so you will need Adobe Acrobat to view it. We plan to include an HTML version with the next release of course. There are still a few holes in the documentation that need to be filled out, so if you feel like contributing back to this, please feel free to hop on over to TDN and edit the docs. If you just want to see the PDF without downloading the Exporters, feel free to check it out here.
These exporters will only work with 3DS Max 7 & 8.

Outstanding job! I'm getting "moist" just thinking about using this when I get home.

Still, looks promising though and was long overdue.

If you export an object, then re-export it with the same file name the exporter crashes and nothing else can be exported unless you restart max.Still, looks promising though and was long overdue.

But I've got the bug with reflection.
If I check reflection flag, I'll get a completely chrome reflection on object, nevertheless what "reflection amout" is.
I don't sure, but maybe it is the same bug, that I've recently fixed for masDtsExporterPlus
here.
Can you check it?

Sweet! Is it easy to use? Do we need to add nodes, collision mesh and all whole load of stuff manually?

I'm really going to enjoy this. Thanks to everyone involved.

The utility for the exporter completely automates the entire setup process. Including the bounds, collision objects and nodes, but you can also use your own custom bounds or collision meshes if you desire.
Currently the collision meshes generated by the utility are just simple boxes based off the volume of the selection. I have been playing with generating convex hulls for collision objects but haven't liked the meshes that Ive been able to generate so far.

That rocks. Totally.
Im re-installing 3DSmax :)
Speaking from the Programmer and Really Not Artist point of view, having *very* easy to use art tools is a strong asset for the engine. Good job!
