Moving Day - Part Two

Following up on Eric's plan about the office move, figured I'd share a few photos from yesterday and today
as the GG crew settles down and gets back to normal. If you had ever had the chance to visit GG at our old office for any reason, then you'll be pretty surprised at how big the new place is compared to the last, and finally we have a bit of breathing room. Which is good because I'm pretty sure that Sean Sullivan was about to make a move on Nate Feyma in the office-wide game of real life Risk. I thought it was all fun an games until I saw all the firearms Paul Scott kept around his desk. In other news, happy birthday to me. No hidden meanings in the fact that my birthday fell on 6/6/06 this year.
Pulling into our new parking lot. Jeff T.'s "right-sized" indy car / motorized advertisment.
Joe M. setting up his Imagineering station. This is where all the magic happens.
Matt L. and Ben G. trying to act like they totally didn't just break Robet R.'s desk.
An unsuspecting Karen P. and Josh W. hiding their valuables.
Mark F. and new Adminstrative Manager Cara B. discussing who gets the emperor platform.
New server room in a transitionary phase with obligatory emperor chair on top.
In engine Dev room #2 Zach Z. fights his desk in hand to hand combat while tries to hide from my soul stealing device.
A new fridge arrives! The old fridge had a portal to the 8th level of oblivion growing inside of it, so this is pretty
much a miracle.
Approaching the Marketing, Web Dev, Conference Center, Sales Department, Reception Area.
Ben B. tries to test the temporary internet connection by opening 50 bit torrent streams. It's "testing".
Graphic Design Intern Nate Feyma tries to figure out who stole his Transformers. (It was me).
We don't have to have meetings in the break room anymore.
Receptionist area in it's transitionary phase.
We discovered during the move that I seem to have a lot of stuff.
Chris. C's desk unfortunately didn't survive the move and had to be put to rest in the loading dock.
Pat W. and Davey J. try to figure out how to hotwire the 3-ton crane for entertainment purposes only.
Justind D. comes in to give obligatory lashing to Intern Anthony F. and new employee Adam L.
Alex S. rebelliously puts his desk at a 30' angle, just to fight the man.
Compound Aste is 80% complete. Still need to rig up the lighting and camoflauge net.
Robert. B scared that he is back on the same floor as me. Robert B. likes it when I write my own scripts and check them in without telling him.
Mark M. finally has the ability to utilize all of his desk while Matt L. and new intern Thomas B. deathmatch each other.
Paul S. and Karen P. discussing top secret matters and then shortly close the door to avoid any futher pictures.
Engine Dev Room #1 still feeling a bit empty. Chris C. enjoying his new desk, but not as much the plant of doom.
Matt F. pimping his track lighting to the extreme.
Adam L. and Justin D. decided they just couldn't stand each other and put up this divider.
Clark F. and John Q. were first to settle in.
Someone forgot to remove the old etching from the interior of the Web Dev Office.
Davey J. doing his Bam! Buy Torque impression.
Jay M. enjoying the freedom of his own office and making sure Associate Spider realizes this.
Pat W. totally caught in the act of stealing power-strips.

BTW, I would've totally destroyed Nate in real-life Risk had he accepted my challenge.

I see you got a nice picture of my desk in there but you neglected to get a close-up of the questionable Hostess Cherry Pie that expired April 22nd...BTW, I would've totally destroyed Nate in real-life Risk had he accepted my challenge.

The non-glowing part in the bottom right is a fake '05 expiration sticker I made to tide me over for a couple weeks before I got my Oregon plates =P

Nice pictures, Tim. The new place looks totally sweet. What I want to know is, who DOES get the emperor's office?

Why is there an empty bottle of hennesy on justin's desk?LMAO @ Steve (below)

He just put it down--that should be obvious!
Now, a REAL question would be what was going on if there was a full bottle on his desk...

I don't envy you guys. Moving sucks. Especially when you have work to do, and moving is taking up your time. Good luck and get settled quick. I need TSE and Constructor. Badly.

I agree you need a life size kork statue, all the other game studios have stuff like that :). Other than that it looks very nice.

I want GG t-shirts as well.
Those should find their way into the GG online store.
I want this merchandising stuff! :)
(and I would also pay for a life-size Jeff T. statue repeating to say with a sampled voice "Go makes games") :)

Hmm, so the intern torture chamber is still under construction? Hopefully it won't be complete until after the fall.

Looks like things are coming along well. You may want to blur our the tag of the car in the parking lot. Just a suggestion.
