DawnOfMen progress and TGE shaders

Hey there some progress reports on our work on DawnOfMen #0.7
For 0.7
1. Convert wall and gate shapes to dts IN PROGRESS
2. Get catapult fully functional IN PROGRESS
3. Do wall destruction scripts
4. Make datablocks for all the particle effects
5. Make dts destruction look nice (add particle effects, sounds , etc)
6. More GUI improvements:
a. Menu button sounds
b. New button styles
c. Move buttons to a button bar which is a semi transparent yellow/orangey colour (transparent) at the top of the screen
d. Change the help button to a drop down list of all the help pages
e. Change background to a video of flying around a completed level (can use theora) TAKEN OUT
f. Move button bar to separate overlay GUI which is on every page
7. Integrate lighting pack COMPLETE
8. Integrate volume lighting resource COMPLETE
9. Fix all known bugs

DawnOfMen is just a codename, we still havent thought of a decent name its always hard for me to think of names :(

The game is looking cool but the castle textures dont seem to fit in with the rest of the pic.

Wow that water looks amazing. How much work did it take to add shaders to TGE? Did you use a resource or do all the work yourself?

LOL @ Ian...

Great looking scenes... but i do have to agree with Rick... i know that these are wip shots, so stuff is bound to change, but consistency is gonna become a real consideration... mixing shadered and non shadered scenery elements...

anyway... so far, it looks really impressive... good luck.

Thanks Mike, I agree with Rick too and yes these are just wip shots we are hoping to get some new walls soon and then we'll update the buildings

I really like the screenshots...

The shaders for TGE is the next best thing since cheese!
