Hey there everyone just wanted to show off some screenshots from the MMORPG Enhancement Kit.
It's very near Final Release!

This is the Character Selection Screen

I will add more screenies later, but I have a feeling this page is already going to take a day or two to load for those of you on less than a T1 line;)

The Kit Currently contains more features than I can possibly list but if you've been following along, we have added Levels (and color reflecting levels to names). As well as Guilds (with guild tags below names) and Grouping. Ridable horses, changeable armor, an experience bar...
And a TON of other stuff.

Come on by MyDreamRPG.com and check us out if you are the least bit interested in making an RPG or MMORPG!

Regards,
Dreamer

Those are very large screen shots. :)
I'm posting this before I can see them - they are still loading. :)

Edit: Looks really nice. :)

I have to agree.

I had to refresh a few times for some of them to come up.

The images are not even loading on your website. Perhaps you surpassed your bandwidth limit?

Ok images moved to some place that can handle the traffic, can't believe how many times they got viewed

@Dreamer - Usually when i post i use thumbnails with links to the full item like so...

www.sickheadgames.com/stuff/tpilot_ts.jpg

The GG markup for this...

<url=http://www.sickheadgames.com/stuff/tpilot.jpg>
<image>http://www.sickheadgames.com/stuff/tpilot_ts.jpg</image>
</url>

(replace the <> with brackets)

@Dreamer - Just use the markup i posted replacing the < > with [ and ]. Of course you also need to make thumbnail versions of your images... i usually stick to 320 or 640 wide max for thumbs depending if it's gonna be bumped around text or dominating the post.

The image is from a little prototype i've been messing with... nothing important.

Ahh ok, I'll do that next time... The GUI guys made these screenies, but like any proud poppa I had to show them off

Ok I added thumbs and it looks like the others turned into some sort of link... Oddly enough they all look exactly the same BB Code wise so I don't know what the issue is. Anyways it should reduce the load on Dark Profits server.

Much better Dreamer. Very cool looking stuff! How do you host the lobby? Just on an extra machine you have around?

Well I host the lobby on my own IRC server, on the same server, I run FTP, SSH, MySQL, Apache, PHP and at any time you can find 20 or so users running around in game. It's not really just any old box I had laying around, it's a server I leased and then custom configured the OS for running TGE. But yes I am doing my own lobby hosting.

I've been following the development of this kit in the past two weeks. This thing seriously rocks. Even if you don't use it for a MMORPG the resources alone in the kit make it well worth the time.

Thanks Dreamer. the only reason I ask is because I'm designing a game that will need a lobby, and if the lobby isn't easy and cost effective to run, then I'm going to scrap the project.
