It's has been a while since I updated the status of our game "Kilo-watt: A quest for power". Basically it is stopped for now. For several reasons we decided to stop the Kilo-watt project, but the main reason was we wanted to continue working on our original project "Barnsmorr Castle". Rick has learned 3DWS now and is building away. I am studying Torque script and the engine editors. So here is some screen shots of some of the things we worked on in the last couple of weeks:
Inside the dinning hall...

view of Barnsmorr Castle and the Fire Tree...

above view of the Maze Challenge...

side view of Maze Challenge...

Castle boat docks with town in distance...

swamp...

and in the swamp...

Well that is some of what we have been doing. This is actually our first game and the one that we are most motivated in finishing. It is really nice to see things and to run around in it. It give us ideas on what we want and where to put things.

Exactly what I was thinking, very sharp!

edit:
The detail he went into on the dinning hall is awesome. I'm waiting to see what the inside of the castle will look like.

Yes, Rick is doing a great job. He is working on the interiors while I am working on the terrain and code. Just to let you know that Rick never has done artwork before. He has grasped the modeling side while I understand the coding side better. We both have settled in to our areas of interests. I should have post more about are backgrounds, but didn't think of it.edit:

@Rick: Hey I made the volcano in 5 minutes. I will do the touch up later. It is pretty big in size...looks small in this pic.

@C2: The maze challenge is a real pain... was in there for 2 1/2 hours and was still bouncing into the walls. Doing a maze from above is easy... going through it first person is really hard.

I hate mazes...they drive me nuts. Mazes need destroyable walls, and LOTS of explosives.

Wow, you guys are really tearing it up. Your game looks interesting - and I concur with the general consensus of 'sharp' being an accurate descriptor of your screenshots. It looks like you are very dedicated to this game, I really hope it works out for you
