2 parts (Personal Rambling and Small game update)
Ok, so I have a problem. I can't go one moment with out thinking of a game. I want to play them make them and work for the companies that make them. Recently I hit one of my small milestones for my own personal game and have not been able to get my mind off of it. I keep showing it off to people at work becuase I am soo happy that I was able to make it. Every waking moment is a game for me. I even bought my daughter a Vsmile so that she can get the bug!!. I have tried turning to my wife but she just tells me to go away becuase she about to get a new job on the sims....
Man I love games!!
Today I am sitting here at my day time job working hard. When my wife calls me up and says look at this website: http://www.sonypictures.com/movies/silenthill/
My wife and I LOVE this game so much. That I am planing on taking a day off from one of my two jobs to go and see it with her. And then follow that up by renting Part 1 and Part 4 as those are the only two we have not beat. If my dream ever comes true of me working back in the game industry I have no idea what I will do with myself! I hope I never get cured of the sickness!!!

I am also excited to see Silent Hill. I heard that the writer was a fan of the games and trying to stay close to the source material. I hope so!

I love your enthusiasm! Often times, I get caught up in the daily grind of working, doing a bit of gaming, planning a wedding, etc. Then I come to GG and see posts like this that inspire a bit more effort on my own projects. Posts like Eric Elwell's 2 parter on making Mighty Fist also inspire me to kick it up a bit. I am also excited to see Silent Hill. I heard that the writer was a fan of the games and trying to stay close to the source material. I hope so!

My girlfriend is a huge Silent Hill fan and is "dragging" me and about 12 other people to go see it tonight. I've never played more than 30 minutes of a SH game but I've watched a lot of all of them, so I'm excited by the fact that the movie is so close to the game in look and feel. I hope the director/musician of the game played major roles in the development of the movie and the music as well. It seems like SH is the perfect game to be made into a live action movie. It's very serious and grounded close to real world reality.-Ajari-

I just got back from seeing Silent Hill about an hour ago, and I'm still stunned by it. The movie is just amazing... incredible visuals, everything right out of the game, and even without the game elements the movie holds on its own VERY well. You and everyone else are going to _LOVE_ it!
