The main focus of the game is it's multiplayer/community features, weapons, and vehicles. One or 2 people who have played it said that the fast action reminds them of UT 2004 hope everyone else feels that way.

Wow, looks pretty impressive.

Where will it be released on Saturday? On this website or do you have your own? If on your website can you give me a link? Is the demo free for download? Will the finished game be released for free or will it cost mucho gold?

What resources are you using for the weapons, I'm trying to get stuff working correctly for a TDN guide, maybe you could help out with that.

Tim it will be released on a different website because i'm not sure if I can release a demo here and it will be a free demo. If the game is popular when the demo is released then I will have a retail version but if it isn't then it will either be cheap or free.

Toby do you mean what tools do I use or what gg.com resources I used?

Toby, some of the resources we used are the projectile spread and dynamic crosshairs. I'm not sure of all the ones Brian used, but for the weapons I scripted I just tweaked things in weird ways. That's how I made a car that climbs extremely steep walls in terrain maps, but it doesn't work in interiors. Always try the unexpected.

So will it be on the BJway Mods website? If not, please provide a link.

Amazing what good things you can end up with doing things that way :P

Actually the dynamic crosshairs, weapon image, weapon name, and ammo were based off of the ammo hud resource I just changed it a little. But the sticky vehicle is a new dataclass that i made from the stupid wheeled vehicle tricks resource. Also the link will be on my pid site on my server so soon I will post the link.

Someone correct me if i am wrong, but i do not believe that you are allowed to use real life vehicles (the Apache) in games without a license. Or at least you can't CALL it an Apache. I know it's true for cars... but hey, i'm not an expert.

How or where would I find out if that is true?

Oh no, so we call a helicopter an Apache, now the government is going to come after us...

I think it only matters if there's one of those little (tm) or (R) things after the name, but I don't believe there are any cases of Apache(tm).

@Alan

It doen't belong to the government, it belongs to Boeing.

@Brian
You might try looking at the US Patent and Trademark Office uspto.gov
Other than that, i don't know the legalities of it. Call Boeing...? :-)

who is Boeing?

Also there isn't any patents or trademarks listed on that site.

Boeing... you've never heard of Boeing? (Sounds like Boing)

They're only the largest airplane manufacturer in the world next to Airbus.

So sue us.

I've made a trailer movie showing the Trampoline map, all the weapons that are complete right now, and the atv and helicopter. I was fighting against the clock making this, so it's kinda crappy, but here it is:

I say let them sue you, get free publicity for your game, and then file bankruptcy right before the sales skyrocket from the free advertising.
