Hi,

I have some more pics from DawnOfMen.

They show the level 'Garad' and the new terrain deformation that the catapults will cause. Its great, when a projectile hits the ground the ground is deformed.

I have also done some great gravity stuff but it needs tweaking, you can jump over walls at the moment but that will be tweaked :-)

I have done some more levels, 2 in fact one is a circular castle one is an 'L' shaped castle.

A lot of levels need tweaking but its looking great!

The catapults coming along nicely

We still need sounds

We still need the AI Pack

Maybe released this summer...

Looking good, I'd smoothen those terain deformations a bit though.. they are too "sharp"

But doesn't this result in lighting problems? And what if you shoot away the ground under a building or tree? won't it float?

i agree they are way too sharp

i have no lighting problems but i will incorperate a dynamic light renderer thingy for the terrain so when a deformation is created the terrain is re-lighted

yes they float thats why im doing the gravity

you might want to think about limiting the deformation to one or two times per area. I know players will hit the same spot to "dig" big ol pits. The terrain could get steep and people fall in and get stuck.

Just a possible problem.

Looks real good BTW.

ah, didnt think of that, the aiplayers might get stuck too. Good idea I will limit them
Thanks!

ive smoothed the edges and adjusted the gravity settings
