I had been waiting for T3D to get out of beta before I started porting my assets, and my game code. Now with 1.0.1 out I have been diving into it. The results have been fantastic! Most of the work involved with porting has been changing little things, but there are many of these. The bigger pieces are coming along slower.

I am done with the base level mesh layout and texturing and will move to populating the scene with a couple of props. The tile suggestion actually works well and makes sense, so, thank you Zoidy. I've worked on it this weekend so I am a little tired looking at it so moving to a new scene for modeling the props should give me a break and a fresh eye when I return.

DTSViewer is a tool for viewing .dts and .dae files in Torque 3D tech. It is able to show or hide mesh groups and change skins on the viewed model. With this update nodes are also displayed. It can create transparent background screenshots in both orthogonal (isometric) and perspective views.

AUSTIN, Texas -- Perfect Dork Studios displayed a new demo of Box Macabre in the GarageGames booth at this year's Austin GDC. The conference provided an opportunity for the team to fine tune their work before the demo is submitted to the IGF and the Indie Game Challenge later this month, sponsored by GameStop and the Guildhall at SMU.
