I can't believe it. Its finally done. Both version 2x and 3. I had no idea how much different the two are from each other. I personally would go for the 3x version. The global reflectance algorithm is substantially different There seems to be a more harmonious and subtle presentation all around. This could just be me of course; at first, I didn't even like this version ;)

I wanted to make a video for a while to demonstrate how big some of the "planets" can be. Ignore some rendering issues you may see in the video, the most obvious one is the gas giant in the background will stop rendering and then pop back in and the other is some seam issues with the terrain. The terrain in this video is a completely new terrain system based off the work I have done so far.

It has been exactly 365 days x2 ... which equals ... er ... 2 and 2 is 5 ... erm ... er ... say about 2 years - exactly - to the day - that I started Project BADGER OF DOOM ... maybe it needs a better name :/
