I have spent the last week reworking the collision system for my terrain system. The way I was doing collision on the server side was deeply flawed. I had been loading as much geometry on the server as the client side was. My logic was that I wanted the geometry to be readily available for castRay and buildConvex .

Here are some screens to show how just a few tweaks of the Scatter Sky settings can have a tremendous impact on the visuals of a level. I removed a great deal of the atmospheric blue and all the fogging. The result is a brighter, crisper level. Undergrowth density has been reduced and the terrain expanded and four new materials added. . .

I've just spent over 30 hours trying to figure out why DNT would not work with Visual Studio 2012. I must have over 30 hours logged chasing this down. I have rewritten core code God knows how many times. It just seemed that it would crash on nested PinInvokes.
