I was recently asked how to reduce the size of the dll files, so I start looking for possible optimizations. Here what I could find and see. I hope it will open the way for anybody in the community and will be a bit useful.

DotNetTorque Sneak preview video. Shows a video of 300 AI's in a game with a player running around and killing them.

I ran into an interesting issue when we spawned 300 AI in our zone and had them doing a conga dance around the zone following waypoints. When a player was running around them, the mobs would warp. It was horrid, the frame rate was alright but they would warp position to position instead of walking smoothly across the terrain.

I know it has been some time since I last blogged on the state of DotNetTorque. Do not misinterpret the fact that I have not blogged as a sign that development stopped or slowed. For the most part, I have been working through scripts which are not exactly the most interesting types of files, and it has become a chore to work through them.
