I have 8 characters primed and ready to go: meshed, textured and animated, design in hand for a small game. Only problem; I can't code worth a lick!

Some more work in progress shots of the T3D powered beat-em-up I'm working on, looking for feedback and a couple of questions.

Is Mack derpin again? Grab a (nerf) baseball bat and find out if you need to whack me upside the head. This preview must be at least 100 characters long but I don't know what else to write.

After what seems like forever I'm back in the saddle working on levels. Ran into a couple of snags however...

Novack on GG IRC pointed out that PixelHouse (pixelhouse.com.ar) released a free zombie model with textures and animations. He needed the file formats converted, so I wrapped it up in a nice little package for all T3D users. Enjoy!

Much to my glee of 1.1b3 being released for Binaries I jumped on and tested some of the new features out. Nothing fancy, just some more rough WIP shots, but I figured I'd post them anyways.

I've been pushing hard these last few months on levels for Eternal War; an old school brawler set within the mind of a mentally tormented young adult. Can you help him overcome his personal demons? A few work in progress shots!

My consistent efforts to stitch together multiple 256x256 terrain meshes for my brawler and reports on how T3D is positively and negatively reacting towards it. I discover something that may have an answer to one of the requests I made in another blog, or at least make things a bit more tricky.

Look at that sexy tri-hawk. So I'm laying the starts to my next level and I noticed something interesting about T3Ds terrain loading and I have two feature requests.

It's been a long time since I've worked in any editor. It's good to get down in the dirt again, it's good to feel alive!

My art team and I are nearing the end of the completion of all the 3d models for Eternal War. The last phase (animation) has about 6 characters left before it's complete. Currently I'm going over all of characters and having some of them redone because I didn't terribly care too much for the quality previous quality.

Running volunteer teams for any sized project is a large undertaking. Where you feel as if you're more babysitting than developing. I decided enough was enough and to try something different.

Was I making a mistake with focused on a stylised look for Eternal War? Would I be able to capture the dark grit that I wanted? I put the question to the test by asking people what art style they liked the most.

It's been too long that I've gotten my hands back in the garden of game development. For the last 2 years myself and an artist have been working away on a episodic platformer that we hope to release on PC/XBLA using Torque X. Here's one of the finalized characters.
