The Repopulation - New Site, Build Notes, & Screenshots

The biggest news this week is that our new web site has gone live. That's not to say that we haven't kept busy. This patch includes a major update to the Engagements system, map upgrades, basic lighting improvements, and a number of upgrades to the mission system.

The Repopulation - 0.0.5.9 Build Notes

The 0.0.5.9 patch is filled with a upgrades to a variety of areas. Highlights include the Wailing Chasm and Control Points getting a beautification pass, a navmesh system for interiors, crafting and vehicle upgrades, a new static quest journal, and much more!

The Repopulation - 0.0.5.7 Build Notes and Screenshots

This update is a mixture of graphical updates, optimizations and new features. We've updated Freedomtown in the same fashion that Plymouth was recently upgraded. A Need/Greed/Pass looting system has been introduced, as well as a major change to the way our death system works. We've also ported to v1.1 of the Torque 3D engine, which has resulted in numerous improvements.

The Repopulation - 0.5.6 Build Notes and Screenshots

Where the last few updates have focused heavily on content and playability, this one took more of a turn towards the visuals and interface. Plymouth has a completely new and much improved look from Stadi Thompson. We've also introduced the third revision of our User Interface from Mikael Pettersson. In addition to this you can find numerous changes the weather, fog, cloud, lighting and shadows of the game.

The Repopulation - 0.0.5.5 Build Notes

This patch had a quicker turnaround than our average patch, but there were several important fixes that needed to be resolved. update again focuses on polishing and improving the early stages of the game. We've given new special abilities to many monster species, in an attempt to make the various species encounters feel unique. We also integrated a new default control scheme.

The Repopulation - Latest Build Notes and Shots

Highlights of this patch include performance optimizations, a population pass on Plymouth, a new conning system, an improved interaction system, rare NPCs who offer new missions to the first player who discovers them, and the addition of a number of new chain abilities. This patch also sees improved visuals, full screen fx, and animation updates for both players and NPCs.

The Repopulation v0.0.4.9 Build Notes

This update stretched on a bit longer than our usual patch period. We've made a heavy push towards being feature complete code wise. The Dynamic Mission system and Clan systems have undergone many changes, as have vehicles, combat and Artificial Intelligence. We have also upgraded to the latest beta (beta 4) of the Torque 3D engine. The next patch will focus heavily on content additions, and will likely be our final patch before beginning to open the game up to more testers.
