New Hires and More

A few months ago, I talked about doubling our staff. This time we almost doubled the size of our office. And, we also have a few new hires. We really took the time and effort to get the appropriate people to grow GarageGames with the right staff to provide the best engines and tools for Torque developers.

Torque 3D 1.2 - Tutorial Revealed

It is Friday again, time for another Torque 3D 1.2 Update. Last week I went over some of the finer granularity of the 3rd/1st person split that we have made so far. I ended it with a small video showing off just a small taste of what our artists have been able to do with it so far. This week I will be giving a high level overview of the tutorial that we have been working on, covering a cradle to grave experience on creating a multiplayer FPS with Torque 3D.

Japanese Games - Mobile Suit Gundam: Federation vs. Zeon

Federation vs. Zeon was a game I got to play in Okinawa when I went there about 6 years ago. I played it everyday at an arcade near the hotel my dad and me were staying at. By near I mean about a mile or so down the street. Arcade's in Japan are known as game centers, so if you go there say that instead.
