David Montgomery-Blake's Blogs
2012 has begun with a bang here in Vegas! We're excitedly pushing forward on a number of great projects and have some very exciting things that we are working on! We'll post more on these things later, however. I wanted to sit down and look at the 2011 year and reflect on just how far we have come as a company.

What can two dedicated developers with a dream create with their ingenuity? The answer: Space Pirates and Zombies or SPAZ. SPAZ is a combination of a space combat simulation, role-playing game, and pure awesomeness. A random star system is generated each time the player starts a new game, and from there they can explore, trade, engage in combat, and generally have a great time travelling the universe.

Die Happy and Cache Minds are complete. Development continues on Onslaught, though I'm thinking of changing some key elements.

Onslaught and Die Happy both back on track. New short film projects on the way and a lot of modelling.

Onslaught is still "in progress" but "progressing slowly". I need to update the GP web site. And I need to finish Cache Minds so that I can push out the final edit for Die Happy.

Die Happy is completely shot, and now I'm just working on editing it. I have a few compositing issues to work out (like removing a cell phone from a couple of shots and changing the ad from a Pharmacy Tech position to the actual "Die Happy" ad). Onslaught is still in the same place that it was on my last .plan update, and probably will be for the next two weeks while we get Black Comedy up and and running.

I have been working pretty steadily on Die Happy, editing Cache Minds, and assistant directing Black Comedy, but I have managed to squeak some time into development (and sleep).
