While there are zones/portals for T3D to use with DTS objects, there are still always needs to eat even more rendered objects to save on frames/draw calls. So, after quite a bit of work and refactoring it seems to be working really well.

We are happy to finally open the doors (well a small door) and allow some people to come in and start some testing. This is an early Alpha test and we have a lot more work to get done, but we have most of the game's mechanics done and things are ready for testing.

Thanks to everyone that showed up last week, we are going to do another one on Tuesday at 7 PM CST. If you have the client on your machine it will work. Log back in and get a small update (11MB or so). Still profiling and cleaning up a few things, but we did get the performance increased on the servers by a factor of 2 so far. More information can be found at our website at www.therepopulation.com

We are going to have a server test tonight at 7PM CST (8PM EST, 5PM PST). Going to be doing some basic metrics benchmarks to see where we are at with a single server load. More info at. http://www.therepopulation.com/theforums/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=10

We recently have been working on getting the Repopulation working with T3D as we were quite happy with the engine where it stood in Beta. While this is mostly complete and there are some screenshots in the Blog, I have also been finishing up the New Character Creation process and this covers that process.

We have been working on a handful of features into the game along with some polish and the website was on this list. After a lot of hard work, cussing, screaming, and hating CSS and HTML it is finally in a presentable state.
