Linux should be a first class citizen in game development. With the support of Valve, Intel's open source drivers, and the indie darlings at the Humble Bundle, Linux has been gaining steam as a gaming platform in recent years. GarageGames wants help getting Torque 3D onto Linux. And for that, we need you!

Nothing Torque-related this time folks, instead it's an update on how I'm spending my free time this Southern Summer.

Torque 2D MIT is an all new, open source, version of our 2D game development software. Following in the footsteps of Torque 3D, which went open source a few months ago, Torque 2D MIT will be available under the same (very permissible) MIT License very early next year.
