Exhibit A: The Corn Dog.

I may explain what this means later. For now its purpose is to make you keep reading this otherwise dull and uniformative BlogPlan. (I'm confused about which term to use, so using them both).

So...been about two and a half years since my last BlogPlan update. I guess some stuff has changed. At last gasp, I was working majority time for a web dev company in South San Francisco. But then BraveTree offered me a position at their company (and I thought I was the one smoking crack), so I quit my job, moved all my crap to Eugene and started working with them folks on their various nefarious projects.

My first project was the critically acclaimed ThinkTanks Xbox, which I started working on around July 2004 and we finished sometime in May 2005, about 2-3 months longer than expected. After that, I had planned to work on the long awaited ThinkTanks 2 for PC, but we were acquired by GarageGames so priorities shifted around. Thus, I'm currently working on a Top Secret project for a certain next generation console (hint: its name rhymes with "xbox three sixty"). Its so secret that if I told you about it, killing you wouldn't be enough. I'd have to collect your remains and transport them to the nearest black hole so that they could be blasted into a parallel universe. Obviously that would be a big pain for me (and you) so I think I'll keep my mouth shut about that.

My sole interaction with the forums recently has been clicking on the "Mark as Read" button. What can I say, I'm an obsessive compulsive type so when I'm at work the immediate priorities (aforementioned secret project) tend to consume most of my time; that is, when I'm not slacking off. Who knows, this may be my last plan update for another 2.5 years (save the applause until the end please).

Oh yeah, about that corn dog. Well, we have many deeply intellectual discussions at GarageGames, and a few weeks ago one came up concerning whether the corn dog is a popular food item on the east coast of the U.S. Having grown up there and never eaten a corn dog in my youth, I took the negative stance, but Steven Zepp, also an east coaster, informed me that they once were an important part of his diet. I supported my claim by alleging that Citizen's Bank ballpark in Philadelphia does not serve corn dogs, something that I pretty much made up, but may actually be true in fact. Alas, since I've been vegetarian for a few years, the corn dog experience is probably one I'll never have, but rest assured that if I ever get a taste for the flesh again, its on the top of my list of meaty things to consume.

Uh, I think I'll kill this BlogPlan before it gets even weirder. Have nice day.

So John, as a vegetarian, where do you stand on the question of factory-grown animal muscle tissue for human consumption?

Taking an informal poll... :-)

Once they have factory grown corn dogs I'll be sold. Speak of those dogs, sounds like we now have the definitive resource on corn dogs in the comments for this plan. I'll make sure this information makes its way into the official TGE docs.

Morningstar Farms makes some amazing veggie corn dogs. You'd never tell the difference. You should try them and settle this silly argument.

Leave it to Quigley to post such a meaty flesh rich Blogplan and I thought he was going to boast of going on his vacation while the rest of the top secret, rhymes with 'xbox three sixty', project team toils over the next big milestone.

John - I hope we don't have to wait another 2 years, six months and 2 days for our next tasty tid bit.

Hmm...I've eaten corndogs my entire life, in fact, last week I had a box of 50 that I ate in three days.

Corndogs are an enormous part of my diet, and I lived on the East Coast for many years before going to Germany.

The Morningstar Farms Veggie Corn Dogs (and mini corn dogs) are indeed delicious and indistinguishable from real corn dogs.
