Great work Ron! Looks great. I really do love the stylized presentations that are possible in games and love to see projects go this route. I think it is severely underrated. Really glad to see it!

Ron,
I have been out of the loop for a bit doing research. That research has been Minecraft and its mods. I am absolutely convinced now that almost all games focus way too much on graphics and visual appeal. So my focus is starting to change to "less if more" in that area.

One thing that appeals to me in this video is that it would give the game designed the ability to do less with the texturing and focus on other areas. Like game play.

Also, as I watched the video it popped in my head that a anime movie producer would love to have this kind of tools in their hands. I can really see T3D becoming THE platform for machinima type videos as seen on youtube.

As always, great work and thanks for sharing.

@Demolishun, I also thought It looks very Manga styled, where the building is scrolling sideways is straight out of some Anime I have seen.

Again good work Ron :-)

looks great.very much encouraging.

" When I get my notes on my research sorted I will put together a .PDF concerning custom shaders and how T3D handles them and such, if anyone is interested. (Why can't we just port in standard HLSL??? good lord!)"

very much interested.
always wanted to look into shader part.but never got time and enough contents for a fast and easy start up.

"(Why can't we just port in standard HLSL???"
why we cannot switch to GLSL rather then HLSL?
GLSL's is a cross platform solution.
or GLSL is not that much powerful like HLSL(in windows)!

A document on your shader work would be very nice, great idea thinking ahead for GLSL shaders. I didn't even think of been able to test them in the TGE with Modernisation Kit (That was heaps cool back in the day too!).

Hey Ron has is your FPS going? Any plans for releasing a new pack soon?

it seems like all you are looking for is a cell shading filter combined with hand drawn textures, I don't see what the quest is about, or is there more than meets the eye?
