In my experience as a web dev.
When purchasing online sometimes there can be an error between the system employed and the merchant where the payment is made over the secure line.
Sometimes when there is an error you keep submitting and are charged for each time. I wouldn't be concerned because they will just undo it and your money would be returned. It would just be a delay in the process.
I can understand the feeling but they are very good normally.

Not true dude, I've bought just about every product on this site over the years and they have always looked after me.In my experience as a web dev.

I have over 20 purchased items in my account and I never had an issue that I recall with the purchases or downloads. So seriously this is just a website error and GG will correct everything very soon. Nothing criminal here. Not everyone works the weekend office hours in the US, and after the week they had I am sure they are actually taking the weekend off.

Also keep in mind that tomorrow is a national holiday here in the States (Martin Luther King Day), so response may still be slow if not all the staff are in.

I guess I wont be upgrading to the TGEA engine like I wanted to but I am fine with TGE anyways.
Just have to be careful I guess.

Could be worse, I bought something a couple of months ago and "somehow" my credit card info got snagged. since GG's was the only place I used the card online I am inclined to think it happened here. So for me I will not be buying any thing here with a credit card. I got lucky and they only got me for 80 dollars. I stopped it before they went for the 1000 dollars worth of tires.I guess I wont be upgrading to the TGEA engine like I wanted to but I am fine with TGE anyways.
Just have to be careful I guess.

Although there are several things I do not like about GG's new website, I will not bash any company until I can prove they blatantly tried to rip me off. Be careful, there are laws to protect companies from what you are doing as well. Freedom of speech does not protect you from slander.
Just for your info I have had trouble with other sites, including GG returning emails to COMCAST email addresses (sidefx,softimage,grome others). This could be your situation. GG may very well have replied but the replies are in your SPAM box, or in my case were never returned and bounced. In that case there was no way to contact me. I have since switched emails to a better carrier.
Give them a chance and they will make it right.
However, this post has reminded me of one more feature I would like to see implemented. The ability to report a post like this and "LOCK" it down until a GG employee can review it. There needs to be strict guidelines in posting Blogs, and I think you have crossed it.
Just for the record I have purchased several items from GG and never had a problem. And if I did, I know it will be resolved - perhaps not as fast as I would like it too, but it will be resolved.

Just a few general replies as i can't be bothered to adress every post.
1. They got my first email Thursday night, US time, meaning the whole it's weekend point is invalid. They had an entire workday to reply. I don't expect them to sort the whole thing out in one day but replying to an email, particularly when they've charged my credit card should be on the very top of GG's list.
2. They didn't charge right away so to all the smartasses saying i should have waited, i ask why? The transaction didn't go through according to the error message so why would i assume they charged me? It's illogical
The bottom line is that running a webshop which doesn't work is amateurish at best and as a new customer how am i supposed to know that they aren't trying to fraud me when they can't even be bothered to reply to an email?
I am a webdesigner and i've set up numerous webshops. I would NEVER run a webshop that didn't work. The correct thing to do in this case is to take the shop down immidiately until the issues are corrected.
I know i crossed the line with this blog, it was intentional because it seemed to be the only way to get someones attention on this horrible disaster of a website and it worked.
I am now in contact with GG and as far as i'm concerned this blog has served it's purpose. You may not agree but to be honest, i don't care

Also, people who accuses others of being kids are usually young adults trying to act mature in my experience. I didn't insult you, yet you felt the need to insult me. Very mature.

You insulted me by accusing GG of being criminals and thieves. I cherish this community and the company that has helped foster it. The same company who helped me realise my ambition of being games developer. Hence why I found your post insulting.
The internet would be a better place without nigh-on slanderous comments like your blog. So how about you leave this community as quickly as you entered it, like you said you would - hopefully with more decorum than your entrance - because I'm pretty sure most of us could do without your attitude.
This all could have been resolved with a polite message on the forums...
I'm bored of this now... back to happier and more productive things than angry idiots.

I'll repeat this one last time so even you can keep up. This blog was deliberately exaggerated to get the attention of someone at GG, since they ignored my mails and forum posts. It DID get the attention and thus it served it's purpose. It's pretty straight forward stuff and shouldn't be so hard to comprehend.
As far as you taking an insult against a company personal, i feel sorry for you. I'd hate to see how you react if i insulted Coca Cola or something.
I will leave this community as soon as i have my money back. Until then, i will continue to post so i can warn other people against the poor moral standards of GG.

When i dont like a charge on my CC card, i call the CC card company and tell them i dispute the charge this will FREEZE the transaction until the issue can be resolved. Usually the originator of the charge will then personally contact me back, and we have a reasonable discussion about the problem.
Anyone with a CC should know this. It is the proper adult way to handle such problems.
Would not it be more productive if you could take all this huffy puffy energy and do something constructive with it? Do you not feel shameful for allowing other people to control your emotions and reacting as a child who has been denied?
I do hope this keeps you going, for some reason i receive a sick sense of glee whenever people overreact in an unprportinatly emotional way.
