A new chapter begins...

I'm going to keep this plan short as the subject is quite simple: I've decided to jump aboard and become a GG employee! Even better, GG has decided to accept me. ;)
For me, the future holds no more wasted time travelling an awful long distance to work but instead, getting out of bed, grabbing a brew and powering up the computer. I'll be able to dedicate my energy to programming rather than fighting humanity on the roads.
More specifically the Torque Game Builder, which has only had small snippets of love from me because of ever decreasing spare time away from the family, is going to get some serious attention and that's going to really help that product fly. This'll also have direct consequences on TGB owners as I'll be able to address issues and fulfill requests for features that are long overdue.
It's hard for me to convey how excited I am by this change but now I can focus on a single task and devote all my energy into it: the results are going to be beautiful.

See you on the forums everyone!

Yes this is really exciting news for GG. It would have been easy to mistake Melv for having been a full time GG'er in the past because he get so much done, but despite our many efforts to put an "employee" tag on him in the past few years, TGB has been just a side effort. No longer. Just imagine what Melv's full attention on TGB will look like eh? 2009 is going to be a wild ride!

I know many have helped make TGB what it is today, but with you on full time, I can,t help believe we will see major additions at a faster pace. Well Christmas and New year has passed, But we will take that TGB2 upgrade as soon as you all get er out.
Are you the first international employee? Like you it is hard to tell who is an employee or those who just contribute so much we associate them as emplyees.

Glad to hear it. I think both you and GG will benefit, but even more so, US! : )I know many have helped make TGB what it is today, but with you on full time, I can,t help believe we will see major additions at a faster pace.
