Trying my hand at Mac development.
I just got a shiny new PowerMac Dual 1.25 Ghz. What a nice machine. I've been playing around with Project Builder and am starting to get the hang of it. I tried moving my projects over to Mac OS X and see how they work. It took my about an hour to get them up and running. Cross-platform Torque is awesome!
I tried adding my Ogg Vorbis streaming that I poster a few months ago. After figuring out how to get Project Builder to link to the Ogg Vorbis libraries, it built just fine. I was able to get it to run with zero changes! I can write good cross-platform code without even knowing it :)
I've decided to focus on the Mac as my primary development platform. It comes with some great tools out of the box, and the Mac game market looks to be wide open for indie developers.

I second your comment about the Mac being a ripe area for indies, and not just in the games arena. It's just the relatively high cost of entry to get yourself a *nice* development system that stops a lot of people if they're self-funded.
