Well I figured it's about time since I've had my share of time off now. Time to get back to work!
I just got back a little ago from an Internship at GarageGames for three months, april to june. It was pretty awesome.
It was great meeting everyone (everyone was very nice) and was interesting seeing how the company worked and progressed through its projects. It started a little slow, but it might have been better off that way, I had a chance to get to know everyone better at the beginning since there wasn't tons of stuff to do. Later in the internship though we really got cooking and man was it sweet. Working with other people that do the same kind of stuff I do (except do it GOOD unlike most of my classmates here at school) was tons of fun and I learned a bunch from all of them, it's great working as a team. Hell, I even enjoyed the meetings. Talking about games and things that would affect the final product is very intriguing and I am overjoyed to see this stuff in action. I simply cannot wait to be an actual part of the industry and get my first job working for a game company. If every place is half as fun as it was to work at GarageGames I can see no complaints coming from me.
I had a lot of fun and would definitely like to work with all the guys at GarageGames again sometime in the future.
Now it's time for me to work my butt off for school for the next 6 months.. got a lot of stuff to do and I want to get some projects going where I can show off some of the new stuff I've learned.. I'm stoked. well.. better get crackin'!

You should post that cool windmill...

Probably because of the giant silver ball.

It was great having you on the team. I know it was a crazy pace, but I hope you were able to take away a good experience and learn a few things along the way.
Andy is right, post the wind mill.
Good luck at school, bone up on those skills and stay in touch.
