Something to show for all the hard work...

I've been doing 3D modeling for the last 3 or 4 years (counting my time in Bryce making spaceships out of Boolean objects) but was always hesitant to do animation. 2 Years ago I saw an opportunity to join a game project and jumped into it even though I had never seriously modeled in the vertex fashion (I worked heavily in Rhino after my time in Bryce). I have by no means mastered everything, but I know the basics. Enough to, in fact, create a model, a skeleton, a rig, a dts, a dsq, AND have it work in the flippin engine. I almost did a backflip when I saw my heavy armor crudely waddling around in the engine!! After hundreds of hours, one animation!! WOOO! So, now im moving on to getting the turret model that I've finished rigged up to work with the turret resource. ATM Im also wrapping up a second skeleton that will be the proper size to create DSQs for 3 player classes (as opposed to the heavy armor I finished which is too different from the other player shapes).

A lot of my personal art is on there... but im also posting model renders (and two animation clips - scroll allll the way down) from the game project.
