Blog post
This is my first blog post on the GG website. I am doing this due to its requirement for the game design contest for DreamGames: www.mydreamrpg.com.
This will be updated probably about once a month, as I have another personal blog on which to make regular updates that is not subject to approval every time I want to post something.
The project is titled Project Unlife as a development name, final name to be determined later. It will be an mmo utilizing Torque and the MMOKit from DreamGames.

What is it, whats it about, whats different. Well, to make things short, having played just about every major mmo and studying them from a game play aspect, there are some things I hope to avoid ever having. Downtime being the biggest, mandatory group set up, support characters like healers, and anything that would prevent the person from enjoying their game play experience. I want players to play the game because they are having fun, not because they feel they have to to keep up with everyone else. Also the game will be designed more similar to a single player game than the current forced interaction of current generation online games.
