Paintball Net progress report.
Last week, I managed to forget our team meeting entirely. Silly me. I got caught up reading Ender's Game (for probably the 10th time; excellent book!). This week, though, I didn't forget. Yay, me.

Progress on Paintball Net is still on the sluggish side, but it is happening.

Myself, I've been working on a locker system for the player's, a place where they can store their extra gear. I have the server-side coding (mostly) done, I think. Now to get a (probably simple and ugly, for now) client-side UI on top of it.

Over the past few weeks, and for probably another 4-6 weeks, we've also been updating our game, Artifact. Which is part of why progress has been slow. But we're making progress on both, nonetheless.

Have fun!

Good to hear the update, I wonder if I still got that old Artifact Account somewhere to dig out the password to see the updates Hrm...

You plan on having the lockers being restricted in "size" like in PBNet? Or going a whole different way with it?

Right now, I'm planning lockers to be the same size for everyone. Basically, about the same size as a small rental storage space (a few cubic meters).

I'm glad to see some progress. I like the idea of a locker system, how will they be worked and used though? When you store something, will it have an item limit or will each item take up a certain ammount of space? I hope to hear about more progress soon:-)
