Paintball Net progress via GG community support. =)
Paintball Net had several nice steps forward this week:
* Implemented the "skin-able" GUI controls change, and even managed to tweak them a bit. Thanks again to Justin and Tim.
* Experimented with some new GUI design for our intro and ready room screens.
* Fixed the "bullet holes" resource we had added a couple weeks ago so that the decals are visible to non-hosting players. Basically just had to re-arrange some code. I posted full comments in the resource notes for those who are interested.
* Integrated a new, skinned player model (young male) by David Franson. It looks really good (even though we're still using most of the demo animations while David finishes those up).
* Added the fxReplicator change by Melv May. This thing rocks pretty hard, Melv. Thanks!
We've also had some good work achieved on our first map, thanks to Lars. It's looking good, even using the textures from the demo (which we are in the process of replacing). Once we have the map textured, we'll release our first "official development screen shots". I'm looking forward to that.
