Bought the Engine on Monday and put my first model in engine today. Woohoo!!!
Well I finally have enough time to mess with the torque engine so I bought it Monday. Spent most of the day setting everything up and DL tools, service packs, etc. Had some minor trouble compiling until I read a post about turning off Norton.
Been using LW for models but for some reason I couldn't get it to export correctly. I didn't like using MS before but I forced myself to use it today after buying it yesterday. After struggling for a while I am starting to like it and was able to export a weapon I created. Having "trouble" (newbie) with the texture mapping but I hope to get better and learn some stuff. So far I haven't found alot of tutorials that were really good.
Don't know what I will play with next. Probably some scripting. I did some T2 modding so i'm a fairly familiar with the scripting language. I know C, VB, and Java and will be sticking to the scripting side of things until I am more comfortable with C++. I suppose my agenda for the next few weeks is to get more comfortable with MS and doing some scripting.

I assume that you've been using my exporter to try to get your LightWave models into Torque. What problems have you been having? Please send me an email: TheHeadGnome@gnometech.com
