Things have been busy... This quarter I was able to get into a 305 level programming class. I'm one of 3 freshman that got accepted even though we don't meet the pre-reqs. Its supposed to be the hardest class in my major, and truthly I think it is. So far i've managed to put around a good 50 hours of work into it over the last week and I still have a long way to go.

Even though it is hard, its still an incredible learning experience. Just being able to learn all the little things about C++ has been an incredible boost to my own programming knowledge. This first "milestone" as it were we have been required to change an old project he had assigned to work with the new "gameboard" class and then implement our own version of another game called castles. Basically depending on the command line argument you'll be able to run one or the other. That in itself was an intresting introduction to reflection. Hopefully i'll be able to finish it in the next few days so I can have a breather before we begin round two which specifically targets the AI with the MinMax Algorythm.

Once summer hits I plan on getting back to my own projects and being able to get some work done again.

That is cool. They didn't let me do high level classes at RIT until 3rd year. So I started my life of crime :(

Yeah, same here. Then again, I'm way more motivated towards my work here than I think I would have been for a programming class... :)
