Blog post
IGC '05 - Friday
Greetings!

The first official day of IGC 2005 has come and gone. It mainly consisted of attendee registration and the keynote presentation by GarageGames. I'll leave a full write up to someone else as I need to head over to the conference hall now (slept in) and present to you a bunch of pictures. Yay!

People are starting to wander in during the afternoon. You'll notice the big black cloth to the right. Behind there Jay and Microsoft are giving presentations to the game press about indie Xbox 360 games and the Xbox 360 in general. Apparently the press will be around for the whole conference and it sounds like a great opportunity for those that have brought games!

Some TST Pro pimpage while everyone is arriving. Be sure to ask to see the printed manual! :o)

You see this all around the hall before the key note -- and even during. Everyone doing last minute tweaks. Either that or slowing down the wireless network downloading pr0n.

The dynamic duo of Ben and Josh making sure everything is ready for the presentation.

Everyone checking out the Xbox 360's in all their glory. The X on someone's backpack was a mere coincidence. :o)

New this year is the IGC live web cam!

You can feel the anticipation!

Mark opening the conference.

Ben talking about all the cool Torque tech. He also officially announced the opening of TDN

Josh talking about T2D and cool 3rd party developer stuff.

Myself and John Kabus also took the stage to quickly talk about what we've been working on. Sorry. No pictures turned out. Hopefully someone else will post.

Greg Canessa of Microsoft. Apparently IGC has the only playable Xbox 360's in the world right now.

Jay closing up the presentations.

As Jay said, tyring to organize game developers is like herding wild cats. Everyone is slowing getting organized for the card and board games planned for the evening. And of course all those indie games!
