I decided a little while ago that I was going to set Ed's Adventures off the the side for a bit and work on a new game LOCKDOWN: The Future of Warfare. The reasons are: First off we actually have a script in the works (Ed's Adventure had little to no script written for it yet), the second is I have been playing a lot of Battle Field 2 and there is so much I believe I could do better with this game (except this game is takes place in the future).

The basic story line is the Japanese have been working on advanced robots and when World War 3 starts due to a nuclear bomb exploding over the united states, an underground group steals the Japanese technology/robots and they attack the U.S.

Thats the BASIC storyline we have a way more in depth one being worked on.

I have started to modeling while the script is in the works. At the moment I am nearly finished a weapon called the R26 A, It is an assault rifle. However I still have to texture and get it ready for animating but right now it is quite high poly (nearly 1000 vector points). So once I reduce that I will texture it. Here are some screen shots I have of it:

Just a little bit off topic right now but I have launched a new site called Faintmedia, which is who is designing this game the site is still being designed: http://www.faintmedia.com

It's looking pretty cool so far, Derryl. The only thing that has me wondering is the very large upper barrel. Why is it so big? Maybe it's silenced?

Or maybe you could put more chambers on it.
