Hello folks, just got back from our annual ToRK Diggers Convention TDC!
Think of TDC as a counterpart to the IGC, just a tiny bit smaller ;)
This time we met just about half an hour away from Nuremberg in a little village called Eggloffstein (from Thursday evening until Sunday noon) - it was really nice there and we had a great time! Here is a view from the castle down to the village:

We had around 7 participants from all over Germany and Austria this year (plus some family members here and there ;)). The main focus was on various Torque (mainly TGE) aspects such as Modelling, Tools (Milkshape, Quark, Codeweaver, etc.) , Mapping, Scripting ... we also worked on some recent projects, new prototypes and discussed some very interesting new ideas.
Here's a picture of me, Jens "BossDigger" Schneider and Stefan Rampp discussing a really cool prototype Stefan was working on:

More on that prototype in a later blog I guess... ;)
Finally, Bossy at work and a view of our convention room:

Looking forward to TDC 2007! :)
Oh, and the new Diggers Contentpacks are really nice, check them out here:

Looks like an awesome place and lot of fun. :)

Well actually it wasn't only a lot of fun, it also was very interesting and informing seeing some tork-pros getting into a over-dimensional workflow :D

Combined with gallons of coffee served by a more than "special"(or lets say kind of weird) waiter I have to say: "Digg it again next year!"

Ooohhhhh yeah, forgot to mention our special waiter - Mr. Sch
