Took us some time to complete this new collection, but we are happy with results of these vicious beasts. :)
1 mesh of just 3554 triangles is fitted with 35! different skins (1024x1024). They add a huge variety of realistic, cartoony, dark horror, bone or ice dragons.
33 cool animations of air and ground actions
Everything is well exported to torque format. So all you have to do is just insert these beasts into your game.
All the info about collection is here.

I have my credit card in hand to buy it, except for one thing: LOD. If you can add 2 or 3 LODs I will purchase this right away.

Some of the sets I liked:

The price is fair specially if you're going to use the models in your final product.Nice!
A suggestion: why not make much lesser detailed, budget friendly packs, for "placeholder art" until you're ready to purchase the real pack? You could put a super-low-poly version of the real models, with simplified animations, so that game creators would get a feeling of how the real model would react in the real game environment. Then later they'll purchase the real deal with almost no impact to the game play.
Just a thought.

$291 for the entire pack is honestly a steal, when you compare to what it would probably cost to have just one of the models custom produced for you (depending on the artist, and the quality, one model alone would be more than $1,000 US, with additional costs for custom animations).

I would use the Beast as an Elite or Boss :D Hes quite large and has some awesome anims for firebreath attacks or an AOE fire ring. Theres a mount in his mouth to use with afx for sprayin fire *waggles eyebrows*
Size vs Kork

-LODs are already added, thank you Thak, nice job :) If some already ordered it, don't hesitate to drop me a line (via e-mail) and I'll give new download link with LODs.
Diego, yes most of our older packs are of lower quality also we put some free packs online and hope to release more.
Our models aren't cheap and we planned to concentrate more on higher quality products. There will be even more expensive and higher quality collections. There are already lots of simple products available online and we don't plan to fight with them for the market. We have our own vision and want to push the quality to the top. This is a huge pleasure for us to make them and I guess for people who see such models. Even if they don't buy them, at least lots of people can be inspired just looking at them.
And another advantage of such price is lower spread between developers. You will definitely see some 20$ packs all over Internet in couple of months. Some of our collections are on-line for like 5 years already, still lots of people see most of our art for the first time.
So we'd better have x10 times less customers but at least make them x2 times happier :)
Julian, of course it is a disadvantage of non exclusive art that it can be used by other people but:
a) as I mentioned above we have lower spread due to they aren't affordable to everybody.
b) we have worked out our own technique, that allows us to supply lots of textures and even .PSD sources, so just sit there for 10 mins and you get your own unique look.
c)definitely custom made art is best way to personalize your project, but it is expensive (at least we'll create same quality at x10 times higher price for exclusive rights).
d)and again even making your own art, imagine how much time can you save working not from scratch but having a base model? At least using animations alone, imagine amount of time and money saved.
And last but maybe not most important for majority reason to our growing prices is insanely rapidly dropping value of dollar. :)
I bet it is hardly noticeable from inside US, but $ dropped like 30% down compared to euro and even more compared to our native currency. And hey it is not stopping :)
P.S. our newsletter subsribers always get discount codes for newly released packs. So there are some easier ways. :)

Did you do the other pack on that site as well? The Robot back located here: http://www.3drt.com/3dm/characters/mech-robots-pack/mech-walker-pack-shots.htm cause the price has two price tags on it $299 and $191. I'll buy it at $191 but not $299. Is there a way you can check the links on it or let me know what the deal is? I tried ordering and links atop and on the bottom only say $299. Please let me know and I'll be buying it today from you if I can get it for the lower price. Thanks much.

PS: The pack is totally unique and I wont have to worry about someone from Mech Warrior coming to sue me for using the pack in my upcoming game Torque Titans right? Thanks for the info

All the packs on website our developed by us.
As for robots pack, yes it was a glitch after yesterday's website update. Just checked everything and price is normal 191 as it should be. So don't worry, proceed safe.
Yes this is completely unique our own design. The only thing in common they have with microsoft mechs, is the fact that these are robots walking on 2 legs. So again no reasons to worry.
There was initially a model that came out looking similar to madcat. It was removed just because of such similarities in design.

The product looks awesome and beautiful. I'm going to pick it up today. Can you tell me about how big the download will be on the robots? I figured about 3-400 megs worth. One zip file I take it? Can't wait to add it to my game. Very well done on the work... About the dragons... is all this one model of a dragon and just multi skins? I could def use the pack in a upcoming game based on a dragon, well... multi dragon types. It would be of a dragon slayer who is the last one of his kind and well, slaying dragons. Any advise on a quality pack like this dragon and robot pack for a game like that? It would features multi kinds of dragons like 2-3 and 1 headed, big, small and everything in between. Anyways Thanks again for the info and again great pack, can't wait to get in on it today.

As for dragons there is 1 mesh and lots of skins.
Here is a video of dragons in Torque ShowTool.

I can't help but notice some sort of change in quality. Something looks especially wrong with the body of the dragon right around where the front arms/legs connect to the body. It's strange because I can't see this from the screenshots, but after watching it in movement for 10 seconds I was like, "What's wrong with the dragon?"
There just seem to be huge gaps in his body, like his chest is caved in or something.

If you are referring to shockwave demo, of course there is a change of quality. Textures sizes are reduced, animation and mesh data is compressed. Bones movement isn't precise as in original file.
A purpose of shockwave demo is to give an idea how the model looks in action not to judge precision of mesh and joints.

Edit: Some of us Like the model to be mountable and able to modify the model to be truly unique across the board.
