6 of our 30+ content packs are now available on the Exis Exchange www.ExisExchange.com. These packs include the modern weapons pack, as well as a few vehicles.

The Exchange is going to be a place where Indies can go for high quality, low cost content. We plan to expand the products and perhaps even offer subscriptions. For now, you can expect new products to come online every week. Anyone serious about their content should have a look!

If you're looking to make the next badass game, or even need some files to learn from, our packs are the way to go. They include enough source art to have you busy for quite a while! Everything we've made works for the torque engine, and it includes exported files.

Soon you can expect characters, software (like our Torque Scripter tools), and even audio packs. Stay tuned, and make sure you check out the Exis Exchange.

Lovely!

Edit: Have you got a ETA on the characterspacks, if any?

Very cool stuff Peter, I am sure that a lot of Torque users will greatly benefit from what you are offering here.

Cool stuff. More of this, please! :)

Awesome; also, the screenshots for the special weapons page don't appear. Excellent work though!

Looks great. What happened to Poacher by the way?

Peter Kojesta   (May 29, 2006 at 16:15 GMT)   Resource Rating: 3
Thanks everyone for the kinda words.

C2: The images appear for me, I even flushed my cache. maybe try again in a little bit and refresh the page?

Matt: Poacher suffered a huge set back when we lost Justin to heart trouble, we're slowly recouperating. it takes a lot of work to sift through and finalize a team mates code , esspecially when they were responsible for 60% of the code changes.

Stefan: Character packs in a week or so, I need to get lots of content up over the following weeks.

Martin: Any questions you have, let me know.

Great job Peter... I might have to see about picking up the ship model

Tim Heldna   (May 29, 2006 at 16:47 GMT)
Nice work, I especially like the weapons models.

The helicopter would be nice to use with my helicopter resource as well ;)

- Are the screenshots rendered images from max? If so, can you provide some screenshots from within Torque?

Just FYI, you made a typo in the second paragraph of the modern weapons pack page.
Quote:

Weather you're an American Trooper with his trusty M16...

That should be whether.

Tim Heldna   (May 29, 2006 at 17:52 GMT)
Typo's fixed, that was quick.

Another question:

- RE the weapons, you mention they come with scripts. Is that just a basic script (find & replace crossbow.cs) or do they contain more advanced features?

Peter Kojesta   (May 29, 2006 at 18:32 GMT)   Resource Rating: 3
The scripts are basic, they outline the animations associated with each weapon. Thanks for the info on the typo. Regarding the torque shots, I'll have to do that once I get some time, I've got an insane amount of work to do right now.

This is excellent quality work. I'll be buying these for sure.

Oh cool! The Humvee has an interior!

I've been waiting for these packs. heh heh heh...

I'm so looking forward to playing with the Coast Guard Cutter.

@Peter - I think there's a couple mistakes. The discription for the humvee shows up on the Vodnik pack and the link to the "more info" is not working on the BF109. The MB for the humvee shows it requires 260MB free hard drive space while all the other packs show alot lower.

I'll be picking one pack up shortly. It will compliment the mission I'm working on quite well!

Jon Frisby   (May 30, 2006 at 19:55 GMT)
@Alan - Whaddya expect?! It's a HUMVEEE! Those things are HUUUGE! :p

@Jon - LoL! I'm just trying to help my man. If it's a typo it could scare off customers. I bought it though anyway (I gotta big hard drive - among other things).

Alan, thanks for the info, all of that is fixed now. The HMMWV is only 20 MB on the disk and a 13 MB download. The BF 109 is also working. Thanks for information on the site, I really appreciate it.

@Peter - your welcome. I bought the humvee last night. I'm pluging it into my game map on Friday. I can't wait to blow it up and see the destroyed model. :)

Dammit, I accidentally gave myself a "3" rating trying to make a post!
